FORM: REPORTED 'YES-NO' QUESTIONS
Se usa para reportar preguntas de sí/no usando 'ask' + 'if' o 'whether' + cláusula, con cambios de pronombre y tiempo verbal cuando es relevante.

Estructura del Estilo Indirecto para Preguntas de Sí/No
Formación Básica
Para reportar preguntas de sí/no en inglés, se usa la siguiente estructura:
Sujeto + asked + (objeto) + if/whether + cláusula
- If y whether significan “si” en español
- Whether es más formal que if
- Con whether se puede añadir “or not” al final
Cambios Importantes
1. Cambios de Tiempo Verbal (Tense Shifts)
Cuando el verbo principal está en pasado, los tiempos verbales cambian:

- En español usamos “si” para ambos casos (if/whether)
- En inglés NO se usa “do/does/did” en el estilo indirecto
- En inglés el orden es afirmativo después de “if/whether” (no interrogativo)
